1) KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS. Overall length: 34 1/2". Blade length: 28". Unmarked blade. Brass hilt. Wood grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear.
2) FRATERNAL. Overall length: 34". Blade length: 27". Blade has some light engraving. Remanufactured grip. No scabbard. A made up from parts sword. CONDITION: moderate wear.
3) ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS. Overall length: 35". Blade length: 27 3/4". Plain blade. Gilded brass hilt. Wood grip. Gilded brass scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear overall. Dark blade. Scabbard is missing the drag.
4) ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS. Overall length: 37". Blade length: 27" . Plain blade. Gilded brass hilt. Certifiably antique ivory grip. Gilded brass scabbard. CONDITION: heavy wear overall. Sword has been lacquered. Added frog stud. Likely replaced grip.
5) MILITIA. Overall length: 32". Blade length: 26". Engraved single fullered blade. Brass hilt w/ federal shield languets. Knight’s head pommel. Certifiably antique ivory grips. No scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear overall. Cleaned hilt. Grip shows several chips.
6) MILITIA. Overall length: 34 1/2". Blade length: 28". Plain blade marked “MADE IN GERMANY”. Brittania hilt showing an eagle crossguard & pommel. Certifiably antique ivory grips. No scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear overall. Grip shows a few chips.
7) MILITIA/FRATERNAL. Overall length: 36 1/2". Blade length: 28". Plain blade. Silvered brass hilt w/ lg. eagle languet. Knight’s head pommel surmounted by eagle. Black wood grip. Iron scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear overall.
8) FRATERNAL. Overall length: 34". Blade length: 28". Engraved blade marked “HARTLEY & GRAHAM NEW YORK” on 1 side & “W CLAUBERG (knight) SOLINGEN” on the other. Brass crossguard w/ wood grip. No pommel or scabbard. CONDITION: heavy wear. (02-14364(8)/BF).
9) MILITIA OFFICER. Overall length: 35 1/2". Blade length: 28 1/2". Blue & gilt decorated single fullered blade. Gilded brass hilt w/ turned down eagle guard & eagle head pommel. Certifiable antique ivory grips. Gilded brass scabbard. CONDITION: blade has fairly heavy oxidation. Hilt is quite loose w/ verdigris at the pommel. Grips are undamaged. Scabbard has only traces of original gilding & shows several dents w/ 1 partial break.
10) KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS. Overall length: 35". Blade length: 27 1/2". Plain blade. Gilded brass hilt w/ added noisemaker. Knight’s head pommel. Certifiably antique ivory grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear overall.
11) MILITIA. Overall length: 32 1/2". Blade length: 25 1/2". Blade is engraved over 1/2 its length w/ various military & foliate motifs. Gilded brass hilt. Knights head pommel. Certifiably antique ivory grip. Gilded brass mounted leather scabbard. CONDITION: sword shows light wear overall & has a very nice blade. Scabbard has several electrical tape repairs.
12) MILITIA OFFICER. Overall length: 35 3/4". Blade length: 31 1/2". Blade is etched over 1/2 its length w/ various foliate & military motifs. Brass hilt w/ turned down eagle guard & eagle head pommel. Certifiable antique ivory grips. Knuckle bow is broken & missing. No scabbard. CONDITION: relic condition. (02-14368(5)/BF). $1,000-1,500.
