This custom rifle was manufactured in 1958. Features a 25-1/2" blued barrel with rear flip notch sight and hooded front blade sight. Super Grade #3c roll markings on the barrel with Winchester Proof mark on the left rear side. Deep relief floral scroll engraving on barrel extends 7" from the receiver. Receiver has matching floral scroll engraving covering about 90% and extends to the bend of the bolt knob. Jeweled bolt and two-position safety. Equipped with a Leupold 2x7 Vari-X II scope on Redfield scope rings. Blued hinged floorplate has 90% custom engraved coverage featuring a silver standing bear and below engraved in Old English lettering "ANGELA E. WEISS / DEC 25 - 1958 / PAUL E. WEISS". Trigger guard is engraved on the bottom with a floral scroll design. Beautiful aftermarket highly figured walnut stock with right hand cheekpiece and cross pattern checkering on grip and forearm. Contrasting ebony forearm tip and pistol grip cap. Super grade style studs and fitted with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. LOP: 13-3/4". CALIBER: 375 H&H MAG. S/N: 431071. CONDITION
Retains 88% original finish showing a few wear spots on the barrel and light scratches along the stock. Scope has turned to a plum tone in areas, clear optics. Stock shows a light scuff in the checkering on the left side forearm. Good bore and mechanics.
