Manufactured in 1959, this is a first year production Super Blackhawk, serial number 324. Features a 7-1/2" blued barrel on the larger "Super" frame, with ramp blade front sight and rear adjustable notch sight. Left side of the barrel is stamped "STURM, RUGER & CO / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." with the Ruger Phoenix logo. Blued receiver and 6 round non-fluted cylinder. Left side of the frame is stamped "RUGER SUPER BLACKHAWK / 44 MAGNUM CAL". Factory stamped "C" under the grips. Factory high grade walnut smooth grips with silver tone Ruger medallions. CALIBER: 44 MAG. S/N: 324. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 85% original finish showing some wear near the muzzle and on the ejector shroud. Receiver and loading gate has turned to a plum tone. All stampings are clear and legible. Nice bore and good mechanics. Grips show some minor dings and scratches mainly on the left panel.
