Manufactured in 1965, this Super Blackhawk has a low serial number. Features a 7-1/2" blued barrel with ramp blade front sight and rear adjustable notch sight. Left side of the barrel is stamped "STURM, RUGER & CO / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." with the Ruger Phoenix logo. Blued receiver and 6 round non-fluted cylinder. Left side of the frame is stamped "RUGER SUPER BLACKHAWK / 44 MAGNUM CAL". Nice stag grips, written on the inside; '87. Comes in the original black and red factory box. CALIBER: 44 MAG. S/N: 19296. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 88% original finish showing some wear near the muzzle and light scratch on the left side of the frame near hammer. Trigger guard and grip frame has turned to a plum tone. All stampings are clear and legible. Nice bore and good mechanics. Grips show some staining from age. Box shows storage and handling wear.
