Manufactured in 1970, in Belgium. This Browning Superposed Lightning Broadway is a Grade I. Features 30" blued barrels with factory Broadway wide ventilated rib, chambered for 2-3/4" shells, top choked full and bottom improved modified. White mid-barrel bead sight and red fiber optic front sight. Blued boxlock action features floral scroll engraving on the sides, top, lever and bottom trigger guard. Bottom of the receiver is engraved "Lightning" in script, "BROWNING" and a portrait of John Moses Browning. The action is fitted with a gold washed single selective inertia trigger and a non-automatic safety. Grade 1 quality walnut long tang stock with checkered pistol grip and ebony cap. Semi- beavertail fore-end with matching hand-checkering. Fitted with a Kick-Eez brown rubber butt plate. Comes in a factory Browning factory take-down case. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 12 GA. S/N: 19633S70. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 98% original finish showing only light handling marks. Great bores and good mechanics. Case shows only minor handling and storage wear.
