Manufactured circa 1975 by Weatherby in Japan. Features a 24" blued tapered, and sightless barrel chambered for the big game .300 WIN Magnum cartridge. Vanguard action is a modified Mauser action with a one piece machined steel bolt with dual opposed locking lugs. Receiver is equipped with a factory Weatherby Premier 3X-9x40 scope. Manual thumb safety and hinged floorplate. High gloss wood stock with checkered pistol grip and foregrip with a right side cheekpiece. White lined walnut tip and pistol grip cap with a white diamond inlay in the pistol grip cap. Black and white lined factory brown recoil pad. Includes a Torel leather sling on swivel rings. LOP: 13-1/2". CALIBER: 300 WIN MAG. S/N: V50020. FFL STATUS: Modern.
CONDITION
Retains 98% finish showing light handling marks. Stock has a very light 1/4" ding on the left side of grip and a few light scuffs in the gloss finish. Great bore, mechanics and optics.
