Manufactured in 1979. This early snake gun features a 4" ventilated rib barrel with full length ejector shroud. Rear adjustable notch with front ramp sights. Left side of the barrel is stamped "PYTHON .357 /* 357 MAGNUM CTG*". Right side of barrel is stamped with a single line Colt address. Left side of the frame is stamped with the Rampant Colt logo. Blued finish with a six round fluted, swing-out cylinder chambered for 357 Magnum or 38 Special cartridges. Fitted with factory Colt checkered walnut wood grips with gold tone Colt medallions. Includes original Colt box with hang tag and factory paperwork. CALIBER: 357 MAG. S/N: V56753. FFL STATUS: Modern.
CONDITION
Retains 85% original finish. Shows wear in high edge spots on cylinder and frame. Grips show a few light scuffs in the left panel checkering. Good bore and mechanics. Box shows light handling and storage wear.
