1) LUFTWAFFE. Overall length: 16 3/4". Unmarked blade. Aluminum crossguard & pommel. Wire wrapped yellow composite grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows some areas of factory polish. Mounts show expected wear. Grip has a crack & sm. loss near the ferrule. Wire is complete. Scabbard shows light wear. 2) LUFTWAFFE. Overall length: 17". Blade marked “RICH A. HERDER SOLINGEN”. Aluminum crossguard & pommel. Wire wrapped yellow composite grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade has spotty water damage & nicks to the edge. Mounts show moderate wear. Hilt is a bit loose. Grip has significant losses at the top & bottom. Scabbard body is very oxidized. 3) ARMY. Overall length: 15 1/2". Unmarked blade. Plated mounts. White grip likely of post war mfg. Plated scabbard. Complete w/ knot. CONDITION: blade shows very light wear. Mounts have tarnish & a bit of oxidation. Grip shows numerous sm. drying cracks. Scabbard has some loss of finish. Knot shows light wear. 4) ARMY. Overall length: 14 1/2". A relic dagger that may be excavated. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a dark patina w/ pitting. Mounts are oxidized & pitted. Grip has significant wear & staining. No scabbard. (02-14486/BF). $800-1,200.
