Manufactured in 1919. This beautiful shotgun features a 25" blued Simmons Gun Specialties ventilated rib barrel with red dot front sight. Chambered for 2-3/4" shells and modified choke. Engraved scroll pattern at the end of the barrel, and floral scroll design on the takedown with gold "MOD" choke marking and Winchester proof marks. Pigeon on the bottom of the barrel with gold matching serial numbers on barrel and receiver. Winchester factory No.5 pattern on the receiver. Left side features two gold inlaid dogs flushing a gold inlaid quail in field scene surrounded by floral scroll design and gold line border. Signed "A.BEE" below the first dog. Right side features four gold inlaid landing ducks in a pond scene surrounded by floral scroll design and gold line border. Diamond cut bolt and lifter, crossbolt safety and gold washed trigger. Gold inlaid "JDC" letters on the bottom of the trigger guard. Nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock with checkering on grip and fitted with a Winchester cap. Matching forearm with checkering. Fitted with a black recoil pad. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/2". CALIBER: 12 GA. S/N: 199231. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 98%+ finish showing faint handling marks only. Stock and forearm are great condition with sharp checkering showing light handling marks only. Nice bore and great mechanics.
