Angelo Bee Belgium Browning Trombone Slide Action with Angelo Bee Certificate
Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1926 for export and upgraded (possibly at a custom shop) at an unknown time by Master Gunsmith Angelo Bee. Rifle to be pictured in up and coming Angelo Bee Engraving Book. 22" blued round fluid steel barrel in 22 Long caliber with "Browning Patent Depose" export address at F.N. with bead pedestal front sight and stamped steel rear sight. Barrel is marked at breech with Belgium proofs. Satin finished takedown frame with blued tubular magazine. Action has full coverage floral engraving done in a style similar to Grade III with setter flushing ducks on right, dog with bird scene on top, and setter flushing pheasants on left. Action has gold washed trigger with blued push button safety and slide release. Dogs and bird are done in gold with right side scene signed in corner "A.Bee". Light tone figured walnut stock with round knob pistol grip and skip-line checkered tapered forend. Possibly done as an upgrade by Angelo Bee or in the custom shop when he worked for Browning. An extremely rare and beautiful example of gunmaking. LOP: 13-1/2". DAC: 1-3/4". DAH: 2-3/4". CALIBER: 22L. S/N: 17337. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.

Overall 98% plus with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics.
