This luxury pump action Trap shotgun was manufactured in 1917. Features a 30" ventilated rib barrel chambered for 2-3/4" shells with Full choke. Mid-length nickel bead sight and orange bead front sight. Elegant floral scroll engraving extends from the receiver 6-1/2" up the barrel on both sides. Blued receiver features 85% engraved coverage, nickel plated bolt, brass safety stop and saddle shoe on trigger. Left side of the receiver features two gold inlaid dogs and four silver inlaid doves in flight in a grassland scene, surrounded by floral scroll design. Bottom edge of both sides of the receiver features an engraved vine design. Right side features three silver inlaid ducks in flight over lake scene surround by floral scroll design. Bottom of the trigger guard features a floral scroll design. Bottom front of the receiver is stamped with matching serial number to the barrel, which is stamped on the bottom "MODEL-12-TRAP". Feather crotch walnut stock and forearm. Hand-carved forearm and pistol grip features oak leaf branches with punch-dot background and an elegant double lined border. Each side of the butt stock features a bone inlaid elongated diamond. Silver tone pistol grip cap with floral scroll engraving and banner inscribed "CA Wilson". Fitted with a brown Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 12 GA. S/N: 148617. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 90% finish, showing light finish wear on the edges of the receiver and action wear on the magazine tube. Light scuffs on the rib at the barrel magazine clamp. Stock and forearm shows light field use with a few faint scuffs. Nice bore and great mechanics.
