Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1968. 22" blued sporter weight tapered sightless barrel in rare 222 Remington caliber with gold washed floral breech engraving and Browning markings. Blued Sako action with gold washed floral engraving, polished engraved bolt, and gold washed serrated trigger. Action has blued detachable floorplate with gold washed Medallion Grade Ram's Head engraving. Action is fitted with floral engraved one piece base and rings with Redfield 6-18x scope. Engraving appears to match factory (possible custom shop?). Walnut Monte Carlo stock with right hand cheekpiece, skip-line checkering and contrasting Rosewood forend and grip caps. Stock is fitted with blued detachable sling swivels and non-factory added Pachmayr vented rubber recoil pad. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/4". DAH: 2". CALIBER: 222 Remington. S/N: 5206A8. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 90% factory finish with some small usage marks. Stock professionally cut with professionally added recoil pad. Excellent bore and mechanics with clear optics. Does not appear to be a "Salt" gun.
