AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 14546B70. Limited edition of 250 produced by the Colt Custom Shop in 1979 as a tribute to the 7 Presidents from the State of Ohio. Bbl. 5". Blue finish w/ special gold plated slide markings. Right side of slide has portraits of Presidents Harrison, McKinley, Taft & Harding w/ Ohio state seal behind serrations. Left side of slide has gold plated portraits of Presidents Grant, Hayes & Garfield w/ gold plated state bird behind the serrations. Portraits are bordered by vine type foliate scroll ornamentation w/ gold "1 of 250" marking on both sides of slide. Rosewood grips w/ gold Rampant Colt medallions. Right grip panel has deep reddish color, left panel is light colored w/ dark streaks. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: book style storage case w/ blue cover having gold markings "OHIO PRESIDENTS SPECIAL EDITION". Fitted interior has white cloth lining w/ brass plaque showing portraits of all 7 Ohio Presidents. CONDITION: appears to be unfired retaining over 99% finish. Polished sides of hammer have acquired spots of corrosion from storage. (21-586/DS). MODERN. $1,200-1,800.
