Czechoslovakian Lovena Shotgun/Rifle Combination with Scope
Made in Czechoslovakia by Lovena in 1946. 26" blued fluid steel barrel with matted rib, rifle sights, and extractors with 16 gauge shotgun over 8x57JR rifle with full choke and 2-9/16" chambers. Barrels are fitted with claw mounts and rough finished Carl Zeiss East German post reticle scope. Coin finished game scene engraved Kersten action with deep chisel floral and game scene panels. Action has top tang safety and gold washed double triggers with front being a set. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and added ventilated rubber recoil pad. Matching walnut checkered Schnabel forearm with engraved latch and iron. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/2". CALIBER: 16/8x57JR. S/N: 9276. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 80% fading blue from an old reblue. Action has been polished to a bright silver. Wood has original varnish with scratches and gouges with worst near action on left side. Good bores with set trigger out of adjustment and clear optics.
