Manufactured in 1982 in Belgium by FN for Browning. Limited Edition North American Deer, numbered 237 of Six Hundred. Features a 22" blued tapered sightless barrel. Coin finished receiver with detachable magazine, cross bolt safety and gold washed trigger. Top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped with floral scroll engraving at front and rear. Left side features three mule deer on a hillside scene with floral scroll design on each side and a gold embossed mule deer bust. Banner is stamped "ONE OF SIX HUNDRED". On the top of the left side its stamped "Mule Deer". Right side features three whitetail deer on a hillside scene with floral scroll design on each side and a gold embossed whitetail deer bust. Banner is stamped "257 OF SIX HUNDRED". On the top right side, its stamped "White tail Deer". Matching floral scroll engraving on the bottom of the trigger guard and factory magazine. Master engraver Ed Vos' signature "E.Vos" is on both sides of the receiver. Beautiful figured high gloss walnut stock and forearm. Checkered pistol grip and forearm with stunning dotted and floral scroll carved borders. Fitted with satin nickel swivel studs and factory Browning butt plate. Comes in a nice walnut, red velvet lined fitted display case. LOP: 13-1/2". CALIBER: 30-06 SRPG. S/N: 437PY00257. FFL STATUS: Modern.
CONDITION
Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original coin and blue finishes, with limited handling marks. Stock shows crisp checkering with very faint handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. Case is in excellent condition with limited minor handling and storage marks.
