Made circa early 1960's in West Germany and custom engraved. Features a 24" blued sightless tapered barrel. Barrel has 20% coverage featuring gold relief floral scroll engraving that extends 5.5" from receiver. Nickel plated receiver has matching engraving with 75% coverage. Left rear side of the receiver is engraved "VICTOR BANDURA / ANDREW ALTA". Rear left of the action is engraved with a bear. Left front side of the receiver is engraved with a leaping deer, and rear left side features an engraved Moose. All animals on the receiver are surrounded with a floral scroll pattern. The bolt handle features a knurled knob and 35% floral scroll engraving. Equipped with a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A scope with matching floral scroll engraving on top as well as on top of the scope rings. Bausch & Lomb scope mount is fully adjustable. Coin finished floorplate has 85% coverage featuring a large buck in a mountain scene. Nickel plated trigger guard has 70% engraved coverage featuring a Bighorn Sheep bust. Two position safety with 9 lug bolt. Factory Weatherby walnut right-hand Monte Carlo style stock with contrasting Rosewood forearm tip and pistol grip cap with white diamond inlay. Skip-line hand checkering on the pistol grip and forearm. Bottom of the forearm and both sides of the receiver feature a diamond tri-wood inlay consisting of Rosewood, Ebony and birch. Right side of the stock has a larger scale, matching tri-wood inlay. Factory sling studs. Fitted with a Weatherby brown ventilated recoil pad. LOP: 13-1/2". CALIBER: 270 WBY MAG. S/N: n/a. CONDITION
Retains 96% finish showing very light handling marks and light wear on the muzzle. Stock appears to be 95% condition showing light handling wear. Good bore, good mechanics and clear optics.
