Engraved 1960 Browning Belgium Grade II SA-22 .22 LR Semi-Auto Rifle w/ Grooved Receiver by Angelo
Manufactured in 1960 by FN in Belgium. Features a 19-1/4" blued round barrel stamped with single line FN address and "BROWNING PATENT DEPOSE". Flip-up rear notch adjustable sight and blade with brass bead front sight. Coin finished receiver features a RARE dovetail groove and Master Engraver Angelo Bee signed work. Left side features two groundhogs in a field in an oval border with grape leaf design and signed "A.BEE". Possible factory Grade II engraving with scarce full signature. Top of the receiver features factory done dovetail grooves with a grape leaf design border. Right side features two squirrels on a tree limb in an oval border with grape leaf design also signed "A.BEE". Bottom of the trigger guard engraved with the same grape leaf design. Gold washed trigger and crossbolt safety. Grade II walnut high gloss stock and forearm with hand-checkered pistol grip and base of forearm. Comes in the original factory take-down case with a Telstar Precision Optics 3X-7x20 scope. CALIBER: 22 LR. S/N: 72412. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 98%+ original finish, showing only faint handling marks. Stock has a few faint dings but retains a great finish throughout. Nice bore, possibly unfired (has not been assembled and actioned). Case is in great condition and includes original Naugahyde hanging tag.
