Cal. 50 BMG. S# X001314. Bbl. 39" over muzzle brake. W/ mfg. beginning in the mid 1990’s, the LAR Grizzly Big Boar was an early contender for an affordable & accurate 50 BMG rifle. Field grade. This design boasts an overall weight of just over 30 lbs. & is combined w/ an extremely effective muzzle brake, assisting in taming the massive blasts of the 50 BMG. The action is often referred to as a “shell holder” design, in which the unfired casing is engaged into a slot cut in the face of the bolt, then inserted into the chamber of the gun & locked up. This particular design combines the shoulder stock w/ the bolt mechanism in a bullpup style system, which places your face squarely over the chamber. The pistol grip & trigger mechanism heavily resemble the familiarity of the M16. Finish on exposed metal surfaces is a matte parkerizing. Heavy duty rubber recoil pad. Integral scope mount, currently sporting a Burris Black Diamond 6-24 power scope w/ adj. objective & Mil dot reticle. Ventilated, tubular style receiver. Includes Velcro affixed factory cheek pad. Complete w/ modified Harris style bipod. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory supplied hard case. CONDITION: exposed metal surfaces enjoy complete coverage, a few surface areas w/ gentle patina which is common on guns w/ this finish. No apparent blemishing of any kind. Bore is clean w/ well defined rifling. Scope appears clear & functional. Trigger is crisp. Firing control mechanism appear to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-215/JZ).
