U.S. ARMY PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 723718. Bbl. 5". Standard configuration. Blued finish. Colt markings on left side of slide which has matching S# to frame. Left side of frame inspector marked "S P". "P" firing proof is near magazine release button, on top of slide & on bbl. w/ cal. marking. Pistol is fitted w/ "Colt Rock" grips w/ out rings around screws. MAGS: 1 two-toned 7 rd. CONDITION: very fine. Retaining over 90% original blue. Silvered on sharp edges, thinning on front strap, main spring housing & bottom of grip safety. There are a few scattered marks, most noticeably 8-10 small dings clustered on left side of frame at rear above safety notch. Left grip is cracked across top through screw hole. Bore is frosted. Mechanically fine. (21-1390/MGM). CURIO. $2,500-4,000.
