Cal. 7.62x25. S# AR03065P. Bbl. 11". A Title 1 variant of the Polish PPS43, open bolt sub machine gun. Chambered in the correct 7.62x25 MM & redesigned as a closed bolt mechanism. The stock has been welded in its collapsed position serving no purpose beyond aesthetics. This example is classified as a pistol. From the dark blued finish on all exposed metal surfaces to the two-piece black plastic pistol grips, it looks completely authentic. Dual aperture flip up rear sights w/ correct protected post front sight that appears to have been painted w/ a luminous resin. Safety located at front of trigger guard. Tan canvas in brown leather sling. MAGS: 3 metal 35 rd. CONDITION: metal bluing on all exposed surfaces still enjoys what appears to be factory coverage. It's hard to tell w/ certainty when guns are mfg. utilizing surplus parts from prior military offerings but it appears as though it has seen gentle use. The bolt is smooth & safety is easy to engage w/ a reasonably decent trigger. Bore is shiny w/ decent rifling & fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1476/JZ).
