Manufactured in 1966, the Centennial '66 rifles were made in both the 26" barrel and the 20" carbine. One of each is included with this consecutive serial number set. Produced to commemorative the 100th anniversary of Winchester's first rifle, the model 1866. Both feature blued octagonal barrels, full length magazine tubes, flat-top semi-buckhorn rear sights and blade front. Right side of the barrel is stamped "A Century of Leadership 1866-1966" in script lettering. Brass plated receiver with saddle ring and top ejection. Smooth straight walnut stock and forearm with a brass plated forearm tip. Fitted with a brass crescent butt plate. Both rifles come in the original factory boxes with sleeves and a single Winchester shipping box to hold both. Factory paperwork and hanging tags are included. CALIBER: 30-30 WIN. S/N: 38848 / 38849. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Both rifles retain 99% condition throughout, showing only the faintest handling marks. Unfired and not actioned, nearly in untouched condition. Boxes are in great condition for their age and show only very faint storage wear.
