Manufactured in 1953. Features a 24" blued barrel with all the standard Winchester roll marks and proof marks. Hooded front ramp sight and rear adjustable semi-buckhorn sight. Blued receiver with side loading gate and tubular magazine. Deluxe hand-checkered walnut wood stock with pistol grip and matching forearm. Fitted with a factory checkered metal butt plate and swivel studs. Comes in the original factory box with original sling swivels, factory hanging tag, instruction manual and safety brochure. LOP: 13". CALIBER: 30-30 WIN. S/N: 1974448. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 94% original finish with a few light scuff marks in the barrel, and some very faint oxidation spots on the tang. Stock shows a few faint dings. Forearm shows a dinged and scuff area in front of the serial stamping. Bore still shows cosmoline, does not appear to have ever been fired. Good mechanics. Box and paperwork show wear from age and storage.
