Manufactured in 1910. Features a 28" blued round barrel with factory rear notch sight with elevator and blade front sight with brass bead. Rear left side of the barrel is stamped "NICKEL STEEL BARREL / ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWER" and caliber "30 U.S." The left side of the receiver is stamped "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN U.S.A. / PATENTED NOV. 8. 95. NOVE. 12. 95. AUG. 17.97. JAN. 25.98. AUG 23.98. AUG 6. 1907". Tang is stamped "MODEL 1895 / WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT OFF.". Fancy walnut straight stock capped with steel checkered butt plate, hand-checkered pistol grip. Matching forearm with hand-checkering and Schnabel tip. LOP: 13". DAC: 1-3/8". CALIBER: 30 US. S/N: 68729. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 80% original finish with light wear on the barrel, high edges of the receiver and integrated magazine. Stock is in great condition with a few minor dings. butt stock has a 1/4" circle wear mark in the checkering. Light frost on bore and good mechanics.
