Cal. 7.62X39. S# 1611737. Bbl. 16". A very early semi-auto under folding AK-47 variant imported from Norinco, China through SILE NY, NY. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Front trunnion marked "156S" along w/ the triangle 66 Arsenal mark. Import markings on left side of receiver. "MADE IN CHINA"/ "SILE N.Y. N.Y." w/ familiar Norinco logo. Correct yellow/red tinted wooden furniture & plastic pistol grip w/ under folding stock. Reinforced stamped receiver. Proper slant muzzle break in front of hooded post front sight. Gas block/ bayonet lug play host to on board cleaning rod. Tangent rear sight marked to 800 meters. Right side controls. Matching numbers on several sm. parts & receiver. Left side mounted faded green canvas sling. MAGS: 1 metal 30 rd. CONDITION: exterior surfaces still retain the vast majority of their original finish. Some areas of thinning in receiver & handguard wear due to mechanical intervention w/ stock. Front sight block has a few sm. spots of weld, possibly separated earlier from the now correct functioning break. Shiny bore w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1452/JZ). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
