Manufactured in 1969. This beautiful early snake gun features a 4" ventilated barrel with full length ejector shroud. Rear adjustable notch with front ramp sights. Left side of the barrel is stamped "DIAMONDBACK / .38 SPECIAL CTG". Right side of barrel is stamped with a single line Colt address. Left side of the frame is stamped with the Rampant Colt logo. Blued finish with a six round fluted, swing-out cylinder chambered for 38 Special cartridges. Fitted with beautiful factory Colt checkered walnut wood grips with silver tone Colt medallions. CALIBER: 38 SPL. S/N: D37312. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 90% original finish with light wear at the muzzle and on the high edges of the cylinder, faint drag line. Grips show a few faint scuffs. Great bore and mechanics.
