Nice 1971 Browning Belgium SA-22 .22 LR Semi-Auto Rifle Custom Engraved & Gold by Ron Reimer
Manufactured in 1971, in Belgium for Browning. This beautiful rifle features a 19-1/4" blued barrel with rear flip-up adjustable notch sight and blade with brass bead front sight. Coin finished receiver features 98% engraved coverage. Left side features a gold embossed fox on a log in a gold bordered oval, surrounded by a deep relief floral scroll design. Top features a gold embossed bird of prey on a limb in a gold bordered oval, surrounded by a deep relief floral scroll design. Right side features a gold embossed raccoon in the field in a gold bordered oval, surrounded by a deep relief floral scroll design. Bottom left side of the receiver is signed "R.REIMER" by master engraver Ron Reimer. Trigger guard is also engraved with a floral scroll design. Gold washed trigger and crossbolt safety. Grade III nicely figured feather crotch walnut stock and forearm, with skip-line checkered pistol grip and forearm. Fitted with a factory steel butt plate. Comes in a Browning take-down case with original Browning case paperwork. CALIBER: 22 LR. S/N: 71T58745. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 98%+ original finish. Near flawless finish throughout showing only faint handling marks. Nice bore, possibly unfired (has not been assembled and actioned). Case is in great condition.
