Cal. 7.62x39. S# AC0057721. Bbl. 18 3/4". The orange/brown tinted laminated wood is an immediate indication of an Egyptian mfg. MAADI ARM AK-47 variant. A stamped receiver, sans scope mount, & a dark matte black finish on all exposed metal surfaces. The muzzle brake appears to be permanently attached via a sm. weld at the base of the front sight & the ears of the bayonet lug have been trimmed down. Correct left front sling swivel corresponds w/ rear stock sling swivel & is outfitted w/ a green canvas sling. Front sight protected post corresponding w/ an elevation adj. rear sight out to 1000m. A.C.C./Intrac import. Tapco USA G2 trigger, on board cleaning rod & black plastic checkered pistol grip. CONDITION: finish on all exposed metal surfaces is complete w/ no apparent visible degradation aside from areas of mechanical intervention, such as between selector & receiver as well as a few light dings on top cover that typically correspond w/ ejection. Furniture has a few light dings & impressions as is common on every MAADI we’ve seen in the past. Clean bore w/ aggressive rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-694/JZ). MODERN. $400-800.
