RARE serial #2 manufactured in 1993 or early 1994 after Greg Warne reopened the company. This classic rifle features a 22" blued tapered, sightless barrel. Barrel is stamped "KIMBER OF AMERICA INC CLACKAMAS, OREGON USA" and "22LR" near the action. Mauser style action is stamped "C2", "KIMBER MODEL 82". Equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8 scope. Includes factory 5-round detachable magazine. One piece Calico made French walnut stock with hand-checkered pistol grip and forearm. Blued pistol grip cap. Fitted with a factory black rubber recoil pad and swivel studs. Comes with the original box and shipping box. Personal letter signed by Greg Warne on Kimber letterhead, to original buyer is also included confirming wood stock configuration. LOP: 13-1/2". CALIBER: 22LR. S/N: C2. FFL STATUS: Modern.
CONDITION
Great overall condition retaining 97% original finish, with limited handling marks. Rear of bolt and knob has turned a plum tone. Stock shows crisp checkering and light handling marks. Excellent bore, unfired. Clear optics. Box is in good condition with limited minor handling and storage marks.
