Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1960. The Pointer Grades were only made from 1959-1966, making them rare and especially hard to find in this condition and in 20 gauge. 28" blued Special Steel barrels in 20 gauge with ventilated rib, ejectors, 3" chambers, Browning St. Louis and Montreal addresses, with Full and Modified chokes. Satin finishes boxlock action with vignette engraving with left side having a setter with duck in mouth signed "M. Magis". Right side features pointer with pheasant in mouth signed "M. Magis". Bottom has quail scene with pheasant scene on trigger bow. Mary Lou Magis is listed in Blue Book as one of Browning's all time top six engravers. Action is fitted with gold washed trigger and top tang barrel selector. Fine select fine checkered walnut long tang round knob pistol grip stock with "Browning" hard rubber butt plate. Matching attached sporting style forearm with latch release. Comes in factory Browning luggage trunk case with original paperwork. LOP: 14-1/4". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2". CALIBER: 20 GA. S/N: 18693. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 98% with light handling and assembly marks. Good bores and mechanics. Looks to be test fired only. Case and papers in good condition.
