Manufactured in 1936 and chambered in the harder to find 28 Gauge. Features a 26" tapered blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel with nickel bead front sight, chambered for 2-7/8" shells with a Modified choke. Standard Winchester proof marks and stampings with "28" marking in tang. Smooth walnut wood stock and walnut ribbed forearm. Also features a crossbolt safety and fitted with a factory Winchester logo synthetic butt plate. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/2". CALIBER: 28 GA. S/N: 748620. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 65% original finish, showing normal field wear on the barrel and receiver. Stock shows a few light dings, and scuffs on the edge of the pistol grip and heel. Nice bore and good mechanics.
