Cal. 5.56mm. S# EA.28227. Bbl. 20". Classic SP1 configuration build on an early EA Co. lower receiver. Receiver finish is midrange gray which is correct. Dark black upper receiver is an SP1 style w/ carry handle & windage adj. peep sight. No brass deflector, rnd. forward assist. Beaver tail triangular handguards & original style front sight/bayonet lug/gas block. Straight wall delta ring. Pencil bbl. terminated w/ A2 flash hider & marked “4T663 MP CHROME BORE”. Sling swivels front & rear. Full length A2 style buttstock w/ trapdoor. M16 bolt carrier. MAGS: 1 40 rd. CONDITION: all of the EA Co. based firearms are custom builds, this one utilizing a combination of A1 & A2 hardware. The contrast between the dark black upper & gray lower is something easily recognizable to longtime fans of the black rifle. All parts were originally sourced from other firearms before being assembled in this configuration & wear as well as markings are normal for builds such as this. Bolt hold open lever sticks slightly, but is still functional w/ persuasion. Bore is shiny w/ visible rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-507/JZ).
