The vast majority of complaints about the (new) AR15 fielded during the Vietnam War was based on the ballistic superiority & effectiveness of the then current M14. The M1A is the civilian mfg. semi-auto evolution of that rock solid battle rifle. Stainless steeled bbl. terminated w/ standard flash hider/front sight/bayonet lug. Factory heavy bipod & sling swivel mt. in front of black composite stock & bbl. shroud. Black nylon sling mounted at 6 o'clock position below stock. Aftermarket B-Square style scope mt. currently hosting Bushnell trophy red dot sight. Rear sight is the popular windage & elevation adj. target peep. Correct trapdoor buttstock w/ folding shoulder support/buttplate. Blued receiver finish. Factory box indicates national match model. MAGS: 1-20 rd. & 4-30 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Gunguard foam lined transportation case, factory shipping box. CONDITION: stock shows very little wear except for areas of mechanical intervention w/ bipod. Receiver finish is complete. Bipod operates fluidly & red dot sight appears to function correctly. Bore is shiny w/ very strong rifling.
