Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1936. 24" blued round Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight (missing hood), correctly plugged rear sight dovetail and action has desirable bolt peep sight. Barrel is marked with Winchester model and caliber on left and Winchester two line address on right with rifle in 348 caliber. Blued solid frame action with blued 2/3 magazine and plain trigger. Standard checkered walnut stocks with checkered steel butt plate and steel butt plate and sling swivel provisions (missing swivels). CALIBER: 348 W.C.F. S/N: 4890. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 90% blue with handling areas wearing to silver. 90% original varnish with checkering starting to flatten with some small usage marks. Excellent bores and mechanics.
