Vintage 1870 Tatham and Brothers of New York City Salesman kit with 26 vials of lead shot from "1" to "B" size. This company was once the major supplier for lead products until its demise 1907. Kit housed in a wood leather covered case with gilded "Tatham & Brothers/American Standard/New York" label. Inside kit has vials in gilded label red painted trays. A truly unique uncommon item that fits many collections.
CONDITION
Overall fair with leather hinge torn on box with very visible lettering. Vials all intact with some showing lead oxidation.
