Cal. 30-06. S# 3706467. Bbl. 24", marked behind front sight "S.C.", flaming bomb, "6" "43". Adjustable aperture rear sight. Blade front sight. Replacement bolt marked on top of handle w/ "X". Safety lug on bolt is not correct Smith Corona profile. Bolt shroud & safety marked "R". All stamped furniture. Large bow trigger guard is correct Smith Corona type. Trap buttplate has shallow checkering. Non matching walnut stock set w/ replacement handguard. Stock has two reinforcement pins. Green nylon sling. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish rendering markings obscure w/ light wear, scattered handling marks & staining. Notable staining on right side of butt has 3 filled dents on right side of butt. Stock has relief cut for bolt handle & sm. missing chip on left side at handguard ring. Metal has 70% original finish w/ light wear, thinning, scattered scratches. Front sight has notable loss of finish due to installation & removal of sight protector. Good, shiny bore w/ frosting in grooves. (21-1477/RW). CURIO. $600-800.
