SIGHT. 1) WEAVER M73B1 SNIPER SCOPE. Marked on adjustment plate "TELESCOPE M73B1 PATD.-PATS. PEND. W.R. WEAVER CO. EL PASO TX. U.S.A.". Scope is marked on right rear "SERIAL NO." plus electro penciled "24697". Scope has 7/8" tube w/ finger adjustments for windage & elevation. Crosshair reticle. CONDITION: scope has lightly oxidized appearance retaining traces of blue & scattered very fine pitting throughout. Has notable remaining area of blue on forward end due to being stored in a Weaver side mt. Optics appear very slightly cloudy, but serviceable. 2) M40A2 TELESCOPE TANK SIGHT. Approx. 5 1/4" long, 1 1/4" in diameter at ocular lens. Scope has heavy brass body w/ black painted finish & marked "TELESCOPE M40 STOCK NO. 7578381" on top of objective lens & marked underneath w/ S#. Scope has bosses for mt., which is not present. CONDITION: scope is missing shipping plug (?) at top. Scope has sm. scratches, light wear & sm. flakes of missing black finish. Optics appear cloudy. Reticle is faint. Lens has extensive peppery spots. (02-14510-2/RW). $500-700.
