Manufactured in 1937. Features a 28" blued solid rib barrel with white bead front sight, chambered for 3" shells with Modified choke. Standard Winchester barrel markings with "SKEET" below the Winchester stamping. Floral scroll engraving design extending 1-1/4" from the action on each side of the barrel, design also carries over to the barrel sleeve lock. Bottom of the barrel depicts the Pigeon grade bird engraving. Both sides of the receiver feature a gold inlaid dog flushing two gold inlaid game birds. This woodland scene is surrounded in a gold lined oval border with floral scroll and checkerboard design on each side, also with gold line border. Diamond cut bolt and lifter. Nice feather crotch walnut straight grip stock with checkering on grip. Matching forearm with double diamond checkering pattern. Fitted with a factory Winchester red recoil pad. LOP: 14-1/2". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 410. S/N: 30405. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 97%+ finish showing faint handling and action marks only. Gold inlays have a dark patina. Stock and forearm are in great condition with sharp checkering showing light handling marks only. Nice bore and great mechanics.
