RIFLE WITH PAPERS. Cal. 7.62x39. S# 11278629. Bbl. 20 1/2". All visible numbers match. Rifle was documented in Oct. 1971 as War Trophy & brought back to Hawaii in included black pebbled grained case. Receiver marked on left side w/ triangle "26" & 3 Chinese characters. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1000m. Post front sight w/ protective hood. Cleaning rod is not present. Replacement 12 1/8" spike bayonet along w/ improper replacement bayonet attaching screw. Hardwood stock set. Cleaning kit in butt. Period leather sling w/ brass buckle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black pebble grained gun case that has "MAC" flight tag. Envelope containing War Trophy papers. CONDITION: stock set has heavily worn appearance w/ dents & scratches. Dark stained finish. Crack in top of buttstock at heel & back of receiver tang. Metal has traces of blue turning overall patina w/ areas of oxidation & fine pitting throughout. Replacement bayonet has notably more blue finish. Very good shiny bore. (21-1439/RW). CURIO. $600-900.
