15 BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH BAYONET. Cal. 8mm Lebel. S# 47 (marked on bolt). Bbl. 31 1/2". Ladder rear sight graduated to 2400m. Blade front sight. Receiver marked on left side "Remington" "MLE 1907-15". Bbl. marked on right side of chamber "RAC 1907-15". Very high condition WWI rifle as made by Remington under French contract. Straight bolt handle. Rifle mfg. to accept 3 rd. clips. Walnut stock. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 20 3/8" unmarked spike bayonet w/ steel scabbard. Silver colored solid metal grip. Bayonet in very good condition w/ very light wear & scattered handling marks. Scabbard retains most of its original blue finish. CONDITION: wood & metal are in very good original condition w/ a high degree of original finish having light high point wear & scattered handling marks. Very good shiny bore. (21-1675/RW).
