A PRIVATE MUSEUM. The museum that these pieces belonged to was operated by Mrs. Rollo B. Potter of Acworth, NH. It appears that Mrs. Potter solicited pieces from many people & many other people volunteered pieces for her eclectic collection. Many of these pieces are mounted on the original cards that she displayed her collection with. The group includes a German officer’s WWI shoulder board & watch fob. / A card containing a bomb disposal patch, several pieces of British military ribbons, a divisional flash & regimental flash for a British regiment. / A card containing Sergeant stripes, a patch from the Lightning Division & a WWI 3 Year Overseas Service chevron. / A card containing a CBI patch, a Persian Gulf patch & a blue & white patch w/ a “1”. / A card containing a patch from the Ryukus Command. / A card containing a patch from the 9th Airforce w/ a captains’ bar. / A piece of V mail in an envelope. / Several newspaper clippings. / A dog tag & good conduct ribbon on a card. / A WWII Berlin airlift medal. / An armband w/ Korean writing on it. / A piece of occupation currency. / AN M1881 helmet eagle. / A ceramic & cloth doll body. / 2 USMC clothing brushes. / A WWI officer’s cap eagle. / 3 FFA pins. / A sleeve patch from the 6th Ranger Battalion. / A holder for sheet music. / A WWI engineer collar disk. / A pledge pin from Sigma Alpha fraternity. / Various letters from NH politicians. / A Cleveland & Stevenson campaign pin. / 11 Nixon & Lodge campaign pins. / 1 Davy Crockett Indian fighter pin. / 1 Major’s oak leaf.
