Manufactured in 1914. Features a 26" round blued barrel with half magazine tube making it a lightweight model. Marble's rear adjustable notch sight and blade front sight. Rear left side of the barrel is stamped "NICKEL STEEL BARREL / ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWER" and caliber "30 W.C.F." with the Winchester proof marks on the top of the barrel and receiver. Tang is stamped "MODEL 1894 / -WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK REG. IN US PAT. OFF.". Highly figured walnut straight stock and matching forearm with metal cap. Fitted with a factory Winchester synthetic checkered butt plate. LOP: 13-1/2". CALIBER: 30 WCF. S/N: 672272. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Barrel retains 77% original finish with light wear and oxidation near the forearm. Receiver is into "the white" with oxidation spots. Stock and forearm shows some dings and scratches. Small chip in the heel of the butt plate. Frosted bore and good mechanics.
