Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1902. 24" blued round Winchester Steel barrel with two line address in desirable 38-55 caliber. Barrel is fitted with standard blade front sight and 22G rear notch sight. Blued takedown action with full magazine and plain trigger. Oil finished checkered 2x wood with cupped pistol grip and case-hardened crescent steel butt plate. Cody Research confirms all options. CALIBER: 38-55. S/N: 273336. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 90% original blue with pitting from storage in a blanket. Frame is pitted with original fire blue on loading gate. Traces of original case colors 95% with original oil finish with sharp checkering. Excellent bore and mechanics. A super rifle suffering from poor storage.
