Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1959. 22" blued Winchester Proof Steel factory barrel in 308 Winchester caliber with correct stippled hooded front ramp and correct folding Lyman 16B rear sight. Matted finish factory drilled action with matching electro penciled hollow handled bolt with three position safety. Blued aluminum detachable floorplate with plain trigger. Walnut factory hand checkered Monte Carlo stock with correct plastic checkered butt plate and correct bow type sling swivels. Comes in later period red checkered original Winchester two piece box with label matching gun. Also included is original wax paper and reproduction tag and instruction manual. CALIBER: 308 Winchester. S/N: 458887. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall excellent with light handling marks with gun appearing to be unfired. Box is tattered and is of a style used later than gun(possible return box?). Box has some edge wear with some tattering.
